Assistant/Associate Professor in Economics (one post)
Applications are invited from ambitious scholars to contribute to the teaching, administration and research activities of the new School of Economics, Malaysia campus.
Apart from fulfilling teaching duties, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to play a full part in shaping the School’s teaching and learning strategy. He or she will be expected to pursue their own research activities and contribute to the wider intellectual goals of the School.
Duties will include:
- Teaching at undergraduate and later postgraduate levels
- Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Research and publication in high-quality outlets in their chosen fields of expertise
- Contributing towards the administration of the School
- Promotion of wider teaching, learning and social goals of the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus
Candidates for this post should have:
- A PhD (or near completion of) in the field of Economics.
- Teaching experience at undergraduate level.
- Evidence of or the potential to develop a successful research agenda and publication record in their area of interest
