The campus at Semenyih is located 3km east of the junction of Jalan Broga and Highway 1 in Semenyih, Selangor. It can be reached by road from Kuala Lumpur in about 45 minutes and from KLIA in about 40 minutes. A road map showing the main routes from Kuala Lumpur to the campus is available. See location map.
Getting About
The nearest railway station is in Kajang Town (9 km from the campus) where the KTM (Keretapi Tanah Melayu) (Malayan Railway) Commuter and KTM National trains stop. A KTM service every 15 minutes between 6:00am and 11:00pm is available to/from Kuala Lumpur and costs RM2.80.
A free bus service is available for students to/from the KTM station in Kajang to the campus. The buses will only pick up and drop staff and students at designated places. It is anticipated that the journey time from Kajang KTM to Campus is approximately 30 minutes.
The nearest bus terminus is in Semenyih (3km from the campus) where public service buses to/from Kajang and Kuala Lumpur can be taken; until the bus station in Semenyih is complete, buses will stop outside the Police Station on the main road. A journey from Semenyih to Kajang will cost RM1.30.
Public service buses are also available from Kajang to Kuala Lumpur at a cost of RM2.60.
In KL the buses pick-up/drop off outside Kota Raya (next to the Pudu Raya bus terminal) and in Kajang, the main bus station is close to Metro Kajang.
Taxis are readily available from Kajang to the campus as well as taxis from Semenyih to the campus. Please be aware that taxis in Kajang do not operate on a meter and you will need to negotiate the cost of the trip before starting.
