Kuala Lumpur Teaching Centre

The 4th Annual Meeting and Conference of the Asian Society for Innovation and Policy (ASIP) will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 4-6 August 2014.

The conference is hosted by Nottingham University Business School Malaysia Campus, the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information and the Korea Technology Innovation Society. 

The ASIP 2014 is also supported by the Faculty of Management, Multimedia University (Cyberjaya) and the Department of Development Studies, University of Malaya.

5 August - Awana Resort Genting
6 August - Tour to Putrajaya (Malaysian administrative capital) and Cyberjaya

The theme of this year's conference is "Entrepreneurship, Human Resources and Innovation", and opening keynote presentations will be made by Y. Bhg. Dato’ Hafsah Hashim, CEO, SME Corp Malaysia; and Prof. Myeong-Cheol Park, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea. 

In addition, there will be presentations by:

  • Mr. Tan Eng Hoo, TRIZ Initiative, MDeC, Malaysia
  • Prof. M H Balasubramanya, Indian Institute of Science 
  • Prof. Khairiyah M Yusof, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia
  • Dean Byungmin Lee, University of Science and Technology, Korea
  • Prof. Seeram Ramakrishna, National University of Singapore, Founding Chair of Global Engineering Deans Council.

The conference will feature panel discussions and presentations from academics and policymakers from South Korea, Japan, China, India Thailand, India and Malaysia.
