Nottingham MBA program soars in global rankings

Description
Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) has placed at number 12 in a global ranking of MBA programs, making it the second highest ranked business school in the UK. NUBS, which is part of The University of Nottingham, was ranked at number 12 in the Better World MBA Ranking, which is the only major global ranking to evaluate graduate business programs on their integration of sustainability into their courses.

Dr Nafis Alam, Associate Professor at Nottingham University Business School, The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC) was conferred the Upcoming Personality in Islamic Finance (Academic) 2016 award at the Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) held in Jakarta recently. The GIFA Awards are held annually as market-led awards in Islamic banking and finance to recognise the contributions of individuals and institutions in the industry.

Professor Lee, who is the current Dean of Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) Malaysia succeeds Professor Fon Sim Ong who will be assuming the role of Vice Provost (Teaching and Learning) at UNMC.

Nottingham University Business School achieves five year EQUIS accreditation

Description
Nottingham University Business School has been awarded renewal of a major independent accreditation, EQUIS, for the maximum length of five years. This achievement places the School among a select global group of business schools which hold the full five-year accreditation. Extensive visits earlier in the year by an international EQUIS peer review team assessed all the School's operations in the UK, China and Malaysia.
