NUBS Malaysia Dean participates in the Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS) Academic Conference 2014

Professor Chew Ging Lee, Dean of NUBS Malaysia, attended the AAPBS Academic Conference 2014 on behalf of the School. The conference, where leaders of regional business schools meet to discuss issues related to the development of business education, was held at the National Chengchi University, Taipei, Taiwan, on 8-9 May 2014. Discussions at the conference focused on how business schools in the Asia-Pacific region incorporate business ethics in curricula and research. Speakers at the conference included former Enron CFO Andy Fastow, who shared his experiences during the Enron collapse, a well-known case of corporate fraud and corruption.

 NUBS Malaysia has been a member of the AAPBS since 2012. The Association aims to provide leadership and representation in order to advance the quality of business and management education in the Asia-Pacific Region, through collaborations in research and teaching and efforts in improving standards and quality. Other academic institutions that are members of AAPBS include the Australian National University, University of Melbourne, University of Hong Kong, Indian Institute of Management, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), and the National University of Singapore.
