Knowledge Exchange Strategy Meeting

Dr Chen ZhiYuan and her Master's student Olugbenro Olubunmi Selere have visited Tentacle Technologies recently. Mr Manohar Pandian Mahalingam, Managing Director and CEO of Tentacle Technologies, the management team (Mr Roshandass Rao, Mr Muthuselvan Yogeswaran, and Mr Rajiv Kumar) and engineers from Tentacle Technologies have presented the knowledge exchange strategy meeting. This collaboration aims to apply machine learning research ideas, knowledge and technologies to the industry in order to benefit the society, partners and stakeholders. Working closely with Tentacle Technologies by pursuing research at the highest practical level will help to create a stimulating and innovative learning environment for all students. It is always the goal of the school of computer science to distribute and exchange knowledge and expertise generated from research and teaching through dialogue with all parts of society, public bodies, business, and individuals. During the meeting, knowledge exchange strategies of collaborative research, consultancy, student placement, guest lecture and industry training have been discussed. Working models of two collaborative final year projects, one second year group project and one research funding proposal have been developed.
