Economics Essay Competition 2016

The School of Economics, University of Nottingham Malaysia campus, is organising an Economics essay competition. 

The topic of the essay competition is: “Is Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement Good for Malaysia? Evaluate the Case for and Against.” 

The essay competition is open to all pre-university and high school students in Malaysia. The following prizes will be awarded:

First prize:       RM 1,000
Second prize:    RM 800
Third prize:      RM 600
3 consolation prizes: RM350 each

The closing date is 31 May 2016, Tuesday.

RESULTS
 
School of Economics is pleased to announce the winners of the Nottingham Economics Essay Competition 2016. The judging panel has decided to award the following prizes: 

  • First prize: Loo Zhao Xuan (Taylor’s College Subang Jaya, A Levels) essay 
  • Second prize: Zhongwei Ho (Alice Smith, A Levels) essay 
  • Third prize: Ku Jia Sien (Chung Ling Private High School) essay 
  • Consolation prizes (in no particular order)
    • Loh Jun Jian (University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, Foundation in Business and Management) essay
    • Lim Zheng Li (Taylor’s College Sri Hartamas, A Levels) essay
