The conference will highlight the importance of inclusive education for children in general and those with special needs in particular, through initiatives and innovations in policy, curriculum, pedagogy and material. Topics focus on current and cutting edge teaching strategies for inclusion settings as well as raise awareness on inclusion education in Malaysia.
The conference also includes a research poster competition for under-graduate and post-graduate students in Malaysia and the region.

Postgraduate and undergraduate students are invited to submit a research poster at the conference. The topic of the poster should blend in with the conference theme “Inclusion: A Child’s Rights to Education”. Each poster should present individual or group research conducted in the field of disability, inclusive education, and/or at-risk education.
