Anurita is currently a University Teacher at the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus.

Anurita's current research encompasses on biomass and biomass-derived biochar. Key area of the research is to characterize biomass and biochar as solid biofuel for pyrolysis and gasification.
