The Centre for Food & Bio-product Processing| will be hosting the 2nd International Symposium on Processing and Drying of Foods, Vegetables and Fruits from June 18-19, 2012

Participants are invited to submit original research papers in their area of specialisation but not limited to the listed topics (see below). Oral and poster presentations will be arranged according to the preference of author. The deadline for submission is April 18th 2012.

  • food manufacturing
  • food properties
  • drying & dehydration
  • food safety
  • fruit & vegetable processing
  • sensory evaluation
  • food antioxidants
  • quality & analyses
  • food packaging
  • confectionary processing
  • mathematical modelling

Abstracts should be sent as a Microsoft Word document using Times New Roman font and include the following:

  • title of paper (font size 14, all capitals, bold)
  • authors, affiliations and contact details (font size 12, title case)
  • a body of 200-300 words (font size 12)
  • five keywords
