The Faculty of Social Sciences consists of Nottingham University Business School Malaysia Campus, the Institute of Work, Health and Organisations (I-WHO) and the School of Law.

Nottingham University Business School Malaysia Campus, an integral part of Nottingham University Business School, United Kingdom, is consistently ranked amongst the top ten Business Schools in the United Kingdom. The School offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including a Doctoral programme. The School also manages a Foundation programme which is tailored to the specific needs of its undergraduate degrees.

The Institute of Work, Health and Organisations (I-WHO) is a postgraduate research institute in Applied Psychology. The work of the Institute focuses on the contribution that applied psychology and related areas can make to organisational health, occupational and public health and safety, and the management of related health services.

The School of Law is consistently ranked amongst the top Law Schools in the United Kingdom and it is among the leading centres for legal research and teaching in the world. The School offers the LLM in International Legal Studies which is designed to provide a high quality programme of legal education at postgraduate level whilst affording students maximum flexibility in both the subjects delivered and method of delivery.

The Nottingham School of Economics (NSE) is ranked as one of the best Economics Schools in the world. It has a strong commitment to teaching and research of the highest quality. In Malaysia, the School offers BSc (Hons) Economics, an exciting programme providing an excellent grounding in contemporary economics, with a range of optional modules.
