SMLC Assistant Professor Tessa Houghton Speaks to Malaysian Independent Radio Station BFM on Hacktivism and Online Activism

Tessa Houghton|, Assistant Professor in Media and Communication with the School of Modern Languages and Cultures| recently spoke to Malaysian independent radio station BFM on hacktivism and online activism, with discussion focusing largely on hacktivist group Anonymous, the evolution of hacking, and the role of hacktivism within society. The SMLC and its Centre for the Study of Communications and Cultures| has an ongoing partnership with BFM through such events as our Voices| seasons of public lectures, and is proud to share the podcast of the discussion| - we hope you enjoy listening to it.
