The MYEULINK project is a 3 year long initiative designed to promote greater awareness of the European Union and its key policies among Malaysian academics and government officials, and amongst individuals working in the private sector, media and other interest groups. It is co-ordinated by The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC).
Funded by the EU, with support from the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, the project encourages co-operation and dialogue in higher education, and seeks to keep decision-makers in Malaysia informed on a range of EU policy initiatives.
It is the first major EU-funded activity to be co-ordinated at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus.
The project was officially launched on 30 March 2010 by EU Ambassador to Malaysia and the Malaysian Minister of Higher Education.
MYEULINK will contribute to the Malaysian Government's efforts to internationalise its higher-education sector and make the country a tertiary education hub for the region
