    Malaysia-Europe Higher Education Conference 2013

In December 2013 the MyEULink project hosted a major conference:

"Graduate Employability and the Role of Higher Education - Opportunities and Challenges in the 21st Century"

The MYEULINK project was happy to build on the success of their 2012 conference which examined transnational education and the implications of the Bologna process both from an EU and Malaysian perspective.

This year the MYEULINK project was happy to address the issues of Graduate Employability and the role Higher Education has in shaping students for future employment. Once again, this event will be co-hosted by the Ministry of Education and supported by the European Union and The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus.

The Conference was opened by His Excellency Luc Vandebon, Ambassador and Head of the European Union Delegation to Malaysia (download his speech ) and YB Dato’ Seri Idris Bin Jusoh, Minister of Education II (download his speech).

This one day conference will be led by speakers from both the EU and Malaysia, representing academia, policy makers and industry.

Session 1: Developing Employability in Education

Session 2:  Employability - Connecting Industry and Education

Session 3: Employability - Findings and Recommendations
