UNMC Earth Hour 2015

In conjunction with The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus's Greenweek and the annual Global Earth Hour event organized by WWF, UNMC Nature Club is organizing UNMC Earth Hour 2015 on 27 March 2015 in UNMC. 

Earth Hour is a worldwide grassroots movement uniting people to protect the planet, and is organized by WWF. Engaging a massive mainstream community on a broad range of environmental issues.

This year, the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus is supporting this green event continuously with an aim to involve and educate the students of UNMC and local population of Semenyih as well. 

UNMC Earth Hour 2015 is a free event. All participants will be given a reusable bag with booklet of Earth Hour and Earth Hour Badge. During Earth Hour, there will be performances, candle-lit procession; carnival stalls which selling food, beverages and green products such as Energy Saving Souvenirs, and UNMC Earth Hour 2015 themed T-shirts.

UNMC Earth Hour 2015 is also a charity-based event as part of the event proceeds will be donated to WWF in support of saving more resources and in uniting more people to protect the planet.
