Internship-Times.my (Malaysia)

Times.my - Internship Programme 

Description: 
We publish newspaper supplements for Malaysia's largest English daily, The Star. Our supplement topics cover early childhood education, higher education, CSR, motoring technology and many more. Our online presence is represented by four websites that cover the whole education spectrum - primary to postgraduate studies. Our magazines are targeted at SPM students and school leavers - SPM Revision Guide and Top Careers. We run online education platforms - SchoolAdvisory.my and Postgraduate.my

We need interns for a few departments.

  1. Editorial - print and/or digital. This will involve writing advertorials and editorials for publication either in the newspaper or one of our online platforms. We are looking for people who enjoy reading and writing for a variety of subject matters, including education, business, health and green technology.This position is great for people with a passion for writing and communications. All our publications are English, so proficiency in the language is a prerequisite. The job provides plenty of learning opportunities in digital and/or newspaper journalism, multitasking and time management. 
  2. Sales & Marketing. This will involve pre-sales, which means following up with leads from our sales channels and being responsible for obtaining relevant information from clients and providing these leads with adequate information from clients. Someone with a passion for marketing will be perfect, fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is a bonus. This job will provide learning opportunities in marketing, client management, running media campaigns and more.
