About IELTS

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world's most popular English language proficiency test for higher education and global migration. 

Many universities and companies in Malaysia accept IELTS as evidence of English language proficiency. 

IELTS is a test that measures the language proficiency of those who want to study or work in environments where English is used as a language of communication. 

The Centre of English Language and Foundation in Education (CELFE) is offering IELTS exam preparatory courses for the first time at UNMC starting from July 2018 and it is open to all UNMC students. 

About the course 

Payment  

Credit card payment (Mastercard /Visa / AMEX)

• We accept cash payment (only at Semenyih Campus Finance Office) 
• E-pay - credit or debit cardholder (Master or Visa). Online banking are also accepted - Affin Bank, Alliance Bank, Ambank, CIMB, Bank Islam, Bank Rakyat, Hong Leong bank, Maybank, Public Bank, RHB and UOB.
• On the Fees name, please click Other Fees. You are required to include Name, I/C or passport, Contact no., Email address, Payment description and Amount. On the 'Payment Description' indicate IELTS 2018 and attach an electronic-copy of your payment with your registration form by email/fax.       

Other payment methods

• If you are an Affin Bank account holder you may pay online via the Affin Bank portal.
• Crossed cheque or bank draft payable to 'The University of Nottingham in Malaysia Sdn Bhd'.
• Bank transfers (telegraphic transfers) or direct bank-in to either of the following bank:

For crossed cheque or bank draft: 

• Indicate the reference: IELTS 2018 and name of the remitter at the back of the cheque or bank draft and post to the correspondence address.
• Attach an electronic-copy of your cheque to your registration form by email/fax the copy to the correspondence email/fax no. upon submission of the registration form. All cheques and bank transfers must be forwarded to the Finance Office for official receipt. 

For bank transfers or direct bank-in:  

• Indicate the reference: IELTS 2018 in your transaction 
• Attach proof of transaction to your registration form by email/fax the copy to the correspondence email address/fax no. upon submission of the registration form. All cheques and bank transfers must be forwarded to the Finance Office for official receipt.
