Rambles from 25 years in publishing (and tips on how to get published!)

Come listen to Rosalind Chua talk about her publishing journey over the course of 25 years - working in the UK, returning home to Malaysia and setting up Clarity Publishing and most recently, a literary agency. She'll also be demystifying the publishing process for budding authors and explaining how to approach potential agents/editors. 

About the speaker:
Rosalind Chua  is the founder and publisher at Clarity Publishing – an independent publishing house based in Malaysia with a focus on commercial non-fiction and upmarket fiction by Malaysian authors.

She is a history graduate from the University of Durham, UK and after graduation in 1997, she spent seven years in London working with various publishing companies including, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Amber Books, Helen Exley Giftbooks and Random House.

In 2003, Rosalind returned to Malaysia where she worked in advertising and magazine publishing before setting up Clarity Publishing in 2007. She is also the author of 12 non-fiction titles and an illustrated children’s book – Twee & the Mysterious Howl.
