High Achievers' Scholarship
The High Achievers' Scholarships provide a reduction of 25% of the tuition fees to incoming Foundation & undergraduate students
This scholarship is awarded for only one academic year and is not applicable for the progressing academic year.
Students may subsequently be eligible at the point of progression for the Dean’s Excellence Scholarships (DES).
There is no application form for this scholarship - it is automatically awarded to the most deserving students.
Dean's Excellence Scholarship
The Dean’s Excellence Scholarships (DES) amount to a fee reduction of 25%. They are awarded to top achieving students ─ at the point of progression for each academic year

Arts and Social Sciences Excellence Award
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences recognises academic excellence through its Arts and Social Sciences Excellence Award. All PGT students, (Malaysian/non-Malaysian) applying to pursue either a full/part-time Master programme are eligible for a 25% fee reduction if they meet the following the criteria:
- Fulfil all admission requirements
- Possess a strong upper second class honours degree (with an average of at least 68 under the British Grading Scheme, or a 3.4/4 US CGPA equivalent).
Other qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
*Applicants with RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) are not eligible for this award
*Awards will be automatically deducted from the tuition fees.
** All decisions are final and no appeals will be entertained.

Future Leaders Award
The Future Leaders Award is a partial scholarship at the value of 25% of the tuition fees and is open to students applying for the MBA and MA Educational Leadership and Management*.
* All MBA and MA Educational Leadership and Management applications (in the first instance) will be automatically reviewed for the Arts and Social Sciences Excellence Awards before being further considered for the Future Leaders Awards. Applicants are only entitled to one scholarship.
Students applying for this award must meet the following criteria:
- Fulfil all admission requirements
- Possess an upper second class honours degree or equivalent
- Have at least 5 years of relevant working experience (must be reflected in the personal statement)
Demonstrate outstanding leadership potential
*Applicants with RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) are not eligible for this award

Corporate Collaborate Scholarship
The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is committed to working with organisations to enhance the quality of their workforce by supporting the need for employees to further their studies in a particular field. Under the Corporate Collaborative Scholarship, organisations are invited to sponsor four (4) Master’s students in one academic year in order to be eligible for the scholarship which is at the value of one (1) full tuition fee. The distribution of the fee waiver is subjected to the company’s discretion. Kindly contact the Faculty Dean for more information pertaining to this scheme.
