PIDM Undergraduate Scholarship Programme 2023

PIDM is a government authority that protects your bank deposits, takaful and insurance benefits in the event of member institution failure. As part of its mandate, PIDM also works to promote public confidence in the stability of the financial system in Malaysia.

About the Scholarship

The philosophy of the scholarship programme is intended to reach out to deserving Malaysians who are in need of financial aid to pursue their tertiary education. 

The scholarship covers full or partial tuition fees, allowances for learning aids including books, computer, stationeries and other materials fee, and a montly allowance. Scholars will benefit from mentoring and coaching programme by pool of mentors, drawn from PIDM's own workforce as well as scholars' alumnus. As part of the strategic design of the programme, scholars may be offered paid internship opportunities in PIDM. There is no bond to this scholarship.

The preference fields of study are in the following discipline:

  • Courses related to digital skills such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Digitalisation, Artificial Intelligence, Technology Design, Programming, Cyber Security and other related courses
  • Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Banking & Finance, Statistics, Economics, Accounting and Sustainablity
