COVID-19 pandemic changed the world dramatically. Education institutions, largely shielded from drastic interrupters in the past, had to adapt and innovate quickly. When faced with the uncertainty posed by the pandemic, institutional leaders and teachers revisited and renewed their view of resiliency. Students, researchers, teachers, and administrators were all not spared this uncertainty.
However, true to the spirit and nature of education institutions, these stakeholders continued to hold the fort and forged ahead in ensuring student experience and deliverables are achieved as close to normalcy as possible.
The Postgraduate Taught Student Virtual Symposium embraces the ideas embodied by the concept of resilience and showcases research carried out by students at the University of Nottingham Malaysia with the title “Disruptors of Future Education”. Through their research, students will demonstrate how today’s message of resilience, innovation, and change management will remain true in successfully overcoming the unpredictability and adversities in the future. Programme book of the event is available here.
