The University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) and E Stream – SQL Account HQ (E Stream) have signed an MOU to provide a platform to increase student employability. The MOU was signed by UNM Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning Dr Hazel Melanie Ramos and E Stream Managing Director Desmond Law at a signing ceremony held at the UNM campus on 22 September.

Students from Borneo wins economics essay competitions for two consecutive years
Description
Students from Kota Kinabalu, Grace Wong Szee Enand Agnes Lim Hai Thong have won the annual economics essay competition organised by the University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM). The duo is A Levels students from Institut Sinaran Kota Kinabalu who co-authored the winning essay. Last year, Gwendolyn Chan Hui Pei, an STPM student from SMK Batu Lintang in Kuching, bagged the first prize.

There is a great disparity in access to healthcare between those residing in urban and rural communities. Rural communities have limited access to quality medical centres and professionals, forcing residents to travel further for quality healthcare. Pregnancy complications, domestic violence, sexual abuse and mental health concerns are only a few of the issues faced by women everywhere, more so for those with limited access to the necessary resources.

A workshop entitled "Decarbonisation for Industrial Processes" was organised by Centre of Excellence for Green Technologies (CEGT) at Impiana KLCC Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on 29-30 July 2022. In this workshop, various industrial decarbonisation techniques were delivered, aiming to assist industrial practitioners in formulating strategies to reduce CO2 emission from their industrial processes.
