Demystifying AI for Business: KLSCCCI Kicks Off AI Nusantara Program with Dr. Simon Lau

Dr. Simon Lau conducted a 1.5 hour sharing on “What is AI?” to 30 senior executives and management of KLSCCCI members (https://www.chinesechamber.org.my/about-us/), a member body under ACCCIM. It is the first session of a 2-day program organized and subsidised by AI Nusantara, co-created by The Hive Southeast Asia and SIDEC. The title of the program is "Demystifying AI, Understanding Risks, and Shaping the Future", teaching participants on the benefit of AI and how AI may benefit their businesses. The event was held on the 11 July (Thursday) from 10:30am-12:00pm at Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (SIDEC) office in Shah Alam.

This program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and strategies to effectively navigate the AI-driven future, empowering them to transform their organisations into innovative, efficient, and sustainable entities. Participants learned to identify the areas of their business that are primed for automation and digital transformation, unlocking new opportunities for increased productivity and cost savings. Moreover, the program addresses the potential pitfalls and ethical considerations associated with the implementation of AI, ensuring that participants can harness the benefits of this technology while mitigating risks and upholding responsible practices.

By the end of the program, participants will be well-equipped to lead their organisations into the digital age, leveraging AI to drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
