The health and safety of our University community in the UK, China, Malaysia and elsewhere is our priority.

During the current situation with coronavirus COVID-19, please remain calm and follow the advice and precautions published on this page for staff and students.

The University has a COVID-19 task force that meets regularly to assess risks, mitigation and, most importantly, the latest advice published by the Ministries of Education and Health in Malaysia, as well as the procedures set by the World Health Organisation (WHO). These are steps taken to keep students and staff informed on the latest safety advice and precautionary measures. We are also in daily contact with our UK campus to ensure our academic content and delivery remain aligned.

We appreciate that this is a worrying and difficult time and recognise many of you are understandably anxious, given the unprecedented circumstances that the world faces with the current coronavirus pandemic.

We are aware of several fake news reports and memes circulating on social media, please ignore these and follow the University’s official social channels, the MyNottingham app, and the advice on these webpages.

Further advice will be published on these webpages as and when required. Please bookmark and refer regularly to them for the latest information.
