We invite qualified candidates to apply for the Executive position in Student Recruitment Department at the University of Nottingham Malaysia.

The role holder will be responsible for achieving domestic student enrolment targets for the assigned markets within Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive student engagement and recruitment opportunities to meet or exceed enrollment targets. This may change as required based on the university’s needs.
  • Responsible for the systematic collection, validation, and entry of prospective student leads gathered from recruitment activities and events (e.g. school visits, education fairs, and open days). Ensures all lead data is accurate, complete, and promptly updated into the Salesforce CRM system to enable effective follow-up and conversion by the Future Students team.
  • Collaborate and maintain good relationship with internal departments, including Admissions, Finance, Student Registry, Accommodation, Career Advisory Services, Student Association, and Faculties, to provide comprehensive support and information.
  • Represent the university at recruitment events within assigned regions and provide cross-regional support during peak periods. Deliver presentations on studying at UNM at education fairs, schools, universities, and other institutions, covering admissions, course selection, and student life.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with student recruitment agents to effectively promote UNM. Provide training and support to appointed representatives and partners, ensuring they are equipped with up-to-date knowledge about the university’s programmes and key developments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key feeder and partner schools, school counsellors, and principals.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of recruitment events, campus visits, roadshows, and workshops across assigned regions.
  • Provide insights into domestic market trends, competitor activities, and student preferences to support strategy development.
  • Supporting major recruitment events such as Campus Open Day, Info and Application Days.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Line Managers.

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in higher education is a plus.
  • Sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and initiative.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Willing to travel and work occasional weekends.
