Senior Executive; Future Student Centre

We are seeking suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Senior Executive position in the Future Student Centre  at the University of Nottingham Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for generating new student enrolments, according to targets, for UNM programs via direct channels which include leads generated via walk-ins, phone-ins, e-mails, web-forms and leads acquired via digital marketing through search marketing, social media marketing, education aggregators and other sources.
  • Provide future students with accurate information about studying at the university which includes programme information, accommodation, scholarships, visas, exchange, transfer and study abroad opportunities and more.
  • Contribute to the development and management of relationships with a range of stakeholders including agents and other external stakeholders.
  • Support the coordination and successful execution of Open Days and Recruitment events on campus.
  • Ensure efficient and effective processing of student applications and support conversions from offers into enrolments.
  • Contribute to policy development and strategic planning activities of the direct recruitment section as well as the Unit.
  • Ensure that all recruitment and admissions activities comply with relevant UNM/regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties reasonably related to the role, as required by the line manager, Head of Department, Director or Provost/CEO

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' working experience in a sales environment; experience in the education sector is preferred.
  • Maturity and initiative for independent work, travel, and meeting targets.
  • Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and chat, with a focus on converting enquiries into enrolments.
  • Pleasant, customer-focused personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages such as Mandarin, Arabic, Tamil, Hindi, or Bahasa Indonesia are a plus
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital tools (e.g., Salesforce, Twilio).
  • Willingness to work additional hours as and when required to meet recruitment targets.
  • Knowledge of the Malaysia education system and framework, and of government policy regulating higher education advertising and promotion is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Empathetic, adaptable, and patient in handling diverse situations.
  • Professional, goal-oriented, and persuasive.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
