University of Nottingham Malaysia appoints Noorulhadi Mohamed as Director of Financial and Business Services effective 1 January 2019. He is no newcomer to the University having been instrumental in setting up the University’s first finance and payroll system in 2001. He joins the University after working for 20 years in various subsidiaries within Boustead Holdings Berhad.

According to University of Nottingham Malaysia Provost and CEO Professor Graham Kendall: “Hadi brings with him vast experience, from his many years of working within the Boustead Group. I have every confidence that he will be able to build on our solid foundations and help us take the University of Nottingham Malaysia to even greater heights. I am very much looking forward to working with him.”

Prior to this, Hadi was the Senior Manager for Finance and Payroll Solutions, a position he held since January 2012, where he managed the Boustead Group’s central data management.

In 2004, he assumed the role of Finance and Administration Manager in one of the pharmaceutical companies under the Group. During his tenure, he oversaw the successful acquisition of two plants and established a support team for the company’s finance system.

Prior to this, from 1997 to 2004, he was assigned as the Accountant at various Boustead subsidiaries, for a two-year rotation term in; Boustead Engineering, Boustead Plantations Berhad (formerly known as Kuala Sidim Bhd), University of Nottingham Malaysia, Boustead Shipping and Boustead Holdings Berhad.

He started his career with the Group in 1995 as a Management Trainee and holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University, UK.

Hadi’s passion for sports led him to become the Vice President of the Boustead Sports Club. He is also dedicated towards voluntary services and has been actively dealing with a listed corporation operating a property timeshare scheme to ensure proper management of the trust funds for its members. He was previously involved in Parents-Teachers Association and he was also part of the fund-raising committee to build a community school for children.
