Exclusive webinar to discuss ESG strategies for companies to respond to COVID-19

Tim Gocher-article3

Tim Gocher, Founder and CEO of Dolma Impact Fund and Honorary Professor of Sustainable Business at Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) Malaysia will be giving a talk on ‘The ESG Investment Tune - How Business Organisations should move to this Beat’.

This webinar is jointly organised by NUBS Malaysia and UN Global Compact Malaysia (GCMY) and will be held on 7 May 2020 at 8.30am (UK time) and 3.30pm Malaysia/Singapore time.

“Impact investment should play an outsized role in the COVID-19 response. The crisis is the biggest test so far for businesses and investors who put society and the environment at their strategic core,” says Gocher.

Gocher is a private equity executive with a background in renewable energy and technology. Before Dolma Impact Fund, Gocher worked with Deloitte Corporate Finance in London, JP Morgan in New York and energy giant E.ON.

During the session, Gocher will discuss the spectrum of impact investment and the types, and drivers of impact capital. He will also discuss the landscape before COVID-19 and some of the strategies that companies can deploy in response to COVID-19.

Gocher will cite examples from his experience in managing Dolma Impact Fund, international private equity and infrastructure capital from European institutional investors and family offices. He will also provide suggestions on how to position your company for impact and impact capital.
