At the launch, University of Nottingham Provost and CEO Professor Graham Kendall unveiled the 20th anniversary bunting which was tied to white and blue balloons to mark the occasion. The prelude to this was a thunderous drum performance by the University’s Chinese Culture Society, a student led society.

“Today we look back on everything we have achieved as a University, in terms, of the lives we have impacted through our research, our students and graduates, our staff, our partners and the local communities,” Professor Kendall said during his opening speech.

20 years is a meaningful milestone as it is an opportunity for us to celebrate our success and achievement as a university, within our community and also with our partners throughout the year,” Professor Kendall said.
