Professor Janssen is currently the Head of the School of Psychology and his research focuses on one of the most robust findings of autobiographical memory: the reminiscence bump, which is the effect that people tend to recall more personal events from the period in which they were between 10 and 30 years old than from adjacent time periods.

Professor Show is a world-leading researcher in bio-process and bio-separation engineering. He has established international collaborations with researchers from various countries in Asia, Europe, the Americas and Africa. Since he started his career in September 2012, he has received numerous prestigious domestic and international academic awards.

UNM’s CEO and Provost Professor Graham Kendall said: “Being promoted to Professor at the University of Nottingham Malaysia is a stringent process that involves a peer review from parties external to the university. We are therefore pleased to have three of our academics achieve this prestigious honour. We encourage them to continue their excellent research and wish them all the best in their new roles.”
