Associate Professor,
I obtained my Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons.) from UCL School of Pharmacy, London, UK, Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy and MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from Queen's University Belfast, UK, and PhD in Medical Science from University of Cyberjaya, Malaysia. I started my pharmacy career at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, UK in 1999 as a pre-registration pharmacist and later as resident pharmacist. Upon returning to Malaysia in 2003, I served at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, UKM as Coronary Care clinical pharmacist and Head of Clinical Pharmacy Services of the Pharmacy Department.. In 2009, I joined Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Cyberjaya and my last post was Associate Professor and Deputy Dean (Academic Affairs). I am now serving as Associate Professor at the School of Pharmacy, UNM and my research interests are in the area of clinical pharmacy, pharmacotherapy of cardiovascular diseases particularly heart failure, pharmacy education and clinical pharmacokinetics.

I am currently involved in teaching & learning of clinical pharmacy and pharmacy practice courses for Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons.) and Master of Pharmacy programmes. In the past, I have also be heavily involved in teaching and learning activities for postgraduate Master of Clinical Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy programmes.
My current research focus are on pharmaceutical care issues, medication burden, pharmacotherapy and pharmacist interventions in the area of cardiovascular diseases particularly heart failure. I have also in the past been involved in researches in the area of pharmacy education, clinical pharmacokinetics, infectious diseases and critical care.
