Biography
Sreenivas Patro Sisinthy received his PhD in pharmaceutical technology (2008), master's degree in pharmaceutical technology (2000), and bachelor's degree in pharmacy (1997). After completing his master's, he started his career in academia as a lecturer and gained significant professional experience in teaching from various universities across countries including India, Libya and Malaysia. In his academic career, he was holding a variety of appointments and demonstrated experience in teaching.
Dr Patro has significant experience of scientific research, works in a wide range of drug delivery topics like nanoemulsions, nanofibers, metallic nanoparticles etc. He has over 50 publications to date in reputed journals. He also held the posts of programme director of postgraduate programme in pharmacy programme.
Dr Patro aims to train competent and compassionate healthcare professionals through constructive and active learning strategies in his teaching. He teaches undergraduate and graduate students in pharmacy with various innovative technology-enhanced teaching methods.

Current Research
Currently, Dr Patro collaborates with researchers across various disciplines, both locally and internationally, to establish research networks and develop innovative research projects in advanced nanoformulation-based drug delivery systems. His research interests include metallic nanoparticles, cyclodextrin-based inclusion complexes, nanofibers, nanogels, and other emerging nanotechnology-based drug delivery platforms.
