Hold request activation

We will be reactivating ‘hold requests’ (Flexi loan) in our library system starting Monday, 26 September 2022. This means that requests can now once again be made on borrowed books and Central Store books. 

Please be reminded that with Flexi loan:  

• All borrowed items will be issued out for seven days, unless the item is in high demand, in which case, the patron will only get the item for two days. 
• Books on loan will automatically be renewed daily unless an item has been requested, or the borrower’s library account has an overdue item or has accumulated fines of RM20 and above or has expired. If there is a request for a borrowed item, a notification email will be sent to the patron. 
• For hold requests of multiple copies, patrons only need to request by title, and the system will choose the next available copy for the patron. 
• Please pick up your requested item quickly from the library as we will only be holding the item for two days.
