NUBS Malaysia Director of Research, Dr Mohan V. Avvari, was invited to be part of a panel of distinguished industry leaders at a webinar entitled Post COVID-19 Recovery: Building SME Resilience, organised by the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS) on 27 January 2021.
The webinar assessed the effectiveness of policies rolled out to help SMEs and micro-enterprises in the worst-hit sectors - manufacturing, retail, and tourism. The panelists discussed the structural barriers that could impede long term recovery, as well as policies that could help SMEs in overcoming these barriers.
