Department of Co-Curricular Activities


The Department of Co-Curricular Activities is housed in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

It comprises of three units, which collectively aim to enhance student learning experience and provide opportunities for students to develop their critical knowledge, competencies, values and soft skills needed to succeed in today's global workplace.  

General Studies Department 


All students (Malaysian, International and Malaysian citizens) are required to enroll in General Studies Department subjects (formerly known as Compulsory Subjects) as a precondition for the award of certificates, diplomas and degrees in Private Educational Institutions (PEI) and Private Higher Educational Institutions (PHEI).

Nottingham Advantage Award


The Nottingham Advantage Award (NAA) is the University of Nottingham's employability award, which recognises students' activities beyond their academic programme. NAA is administered by FASS, but is open to undergraduate students from across all faculties.

Summer Schools


Want to spend two weeks at UNMC this summer? Our International Summer School programme attracts students from around the world to learn from academic experts in various interdisciplinary fields over the period of two weeks in August. With an exciting blend of lectures, field trips and cultural activities, this programme promises an intense yet highly enjoyable learning experience.
