Biography
I obtained my Ph.D degree in Biological Sciences from the National University of Singapore. After graduation I did my post-doctoral trainings in Singapore, United States and United Kingdom prior to joining Division of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Nottingham Malaysia as Assistant Professor. My research interests have been trying to understand the role(s) of mitochondrial function and oxidative stress in cardiovascular pathophysiology. I am well-trained in biochemical techniques and specialized surgical procedures in rodents. I welcome research collaborations related to obesity, diabetes, hypertension and vascular biology. Besides, I am interested to understand the biological functions of metal oxide nanoparticles.
