The inaugural Christine Ennew Business Challenge Trophy 2016, sponsored by Ken-Rich Corporation Sdn Bhd, was organised in conjunction with the 15th Anniversary of The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC). The aim of the competition is to offer UNMC students a professional experience and opportunity to participate in a real-life business project.
For the inaugural Challenge, contestants were required to develop a business plan on the theme Male Toiletries for Daily Personal Care. The Champion team will travel to the University of Nottingham, UK, with all expenses paid. Cash consolation prizes are also available.
Finalists
At the Preliminary Round, twelve teams submitted their entries, consisting of a 5-minute video from each team, which were assessed according to the criteria of Analysis (25%), Communication and Promotion (25%), Innovation of the Strategy (35%) and Presentation and Team Spirit (15%).
Out of the twelve teams, the following five teams have been selected to compete at the Finals, which will be held on 29 February 2016:
- Team H2B - Hiba Khalid, Ngu Huong Hing, Bayan Sadiq
- Team EDGE - Fabiolla Netto Martin, Chen May Yie, Wong Yoong Wern
- Team J & J - Liau Haw Yuan, Natalie Liew Jia Yi, Tang Yingjie
- Team KR - Dana Saleh Ebrahim Rashed Rashed Almulla, Ahdil Miftaz Marikar, Karl Izlan Zayn
- Team HAL - Muhammad Hafidz Bin Mohd Fadzli, Lukman Hakim Bin Mohd Isa, Mohd Ashraf Bin Sazali
