Hung is an Associate Professor of Accounting at NUBS Malaysia. She has practical experience in management accounting, internal auditing, academic administration and lecturing.

Hung's research interests include practices in management accounting in the service sectors, and corporate social responsibilities and reporting in developing countries. She is currently looking into management accounting practices for quality management in healthcare. Hung has published in both international and regional journals. She supervises master students in their research projects.
