Biography

Mathew Abraham has been a lecturer in Management, OB and HRM for the past 13 years. Prior to that Mathew Abraham was a Human Resource practioneer in a medium sized logistics company for 8 years. He has been actively involved in the formulation of corporate HR policies and developing all aspects of Human Resource and Industrial Relations processes and functions. He has also been involved in corporate training especially in new managers developmental courses and soft skills.

Expertise Summary

My expertise is in the area of human resource management. Specifically researching on recruitment and selection systems and understanding the significance of PO and PJ fit. In addition I develop and conduct executive education programmes targeting new managers and leaders as part of career development plans.

1. Current research is on Talent Acquisition Practices in SMEs: Developing an Operative 'Fit' Model. This research is funded by the MOE under Fundamental Research Grant Scheme.
