Business and finance students at Nottingham University Business School Malaysia have the opportunity to learn investment analysis through a purpose-built financial trading room.
The NUBS Financial Trading Room is equipped with financial trading software and financial databases, together with dual-monitor workstations and flat-screen TVs. The Room serves not only as a trading lab, as it is a multi-purpose space that can also be used for behavioural market research as well as regular teaching activities.
The Financial Trading Room allows our students to gain practical experience on using financial technology, portfolio optimisation and performance evaluation tools together with live financial data to make informed investment decisions.
Students on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes have the opportunity to use the NUBS Financial Trading Room for teaching and learning as well as research purposes. In particular, use of the Financial Trading Room has been implemented within the following programmes:
