Summer School


Welcome to “Coral Reef Ecology” brought to you jointly by the University of Nottingham and Ecofieldtrips.

The course will take place over eight days from 5 - 12 July 2015 will be based on Tioman Island, located 32km off the East coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

The aim of this course is provide students with high level training in coral reef ecology. In depth identification skills are tested and applied practically to provide all participants with robust research skills in coral reef systems.



The course convenor at University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC) is Dr Suzanne McGowan, Head of School of Geography. The course convenor at Ecofieldtrips is Richard Cottrell.
