The school is pleased to announce that Nourhan Mohamed Aboulabbas Elmorsy Mohamed has passed her PhD viva voce examination held on 5 May 2021.Her thesis, “Re-imagining Egyptian National Identity in the Post-Arab Spring Novel: The Stylistics of Representing Social Agents and Building Fictional Worlds in The Queue and Otared”, was supervised by Dr Derek Irwin and Dr Melissa Yoong. The Internal Examiner was Professor Geoff Hall from the School of Education and English, University of Nottingham Ningbo China, the External Examiner was Dr Alison Gibbons from the Department of Humanities, Sheffield Hallam University and the Chair was Dr Mohammad Safaei. Our congratulations to Nourhan on her achievement!
