The school is pleased to announce that Nur Sheena Baharudin has passed her PhD viva voce examination held on 21 February 2020.Her thesis, “THE NEW PENGLIPURLARA: Spoken Word Poetry and the Revival of the Contemporary Storyteller in Malaysian Literature in English”, was supervised by Dr Shivani Sivagurunathan and Professor Malachi Edwin Vethamani. The Internal Examiner was Dr Gaik Cheng Khoo from School of Media Languages and Cultures (SMLC), the External Examiner was Professor Datin Dr Ruzy Suliza Hashim from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and the Chair was Dr Melissa Yoong.Our congratulations to Sheena on her achievement!
