The University of Nottingham Malaysia (UNM) has been recognised in the Talentbank Graduate Employability Index 2026, based on Talentbank’s national employer survey and employability assessment. According to Talentbank, the recognition is awarded to institutions that consistently produce employer-valued graduates.
The Talentbank Graduate Employability Index is an employer-led benchmark that measures graduate outcomes, including employer demand, hiring confidence, and workplace readiness. Supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, the index serves as a complementary indicator alongside traditional university rankings by focusing on employability outcomes.

Under the 2026 assessment, several UNM fields of study received 6-Star Employer Choice recognition, indicating strong employer endorsement within their respective categories.

Talentbank also noted that the 2026 results were determined by organisations of various sizes across Malaysia through structured input from graduate employers.
Representatives from UNM attended the Talentbank Graduate Employability Award 2026 on 11 April 2026 at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, where recognised institutions were celebrated. The University was represented by Alicia Ch’ng, Head of Careers Advisory Service, Kung Suan Lay, Marketing Director, and members of the Careers Advisory Service team: Suze Lim, Kevin Lim, and Ahmad Kamil Hakimien.

Recognitions such as these are a testament to UNM’s continued focus on graduate outcomes and its ability to equip students with the skills and competencies valued by employers.
