Economics Essay Competition 2017

The School of Economics, University of Nottingham Malaysia campus, is organising an Economics essay competition. 

The topic of the essay competition is: “A Nobel Memorial Prize laureate in Economics who has inspired me.” 

The essay competition is open to all pre-university and high school students in Malaysia. The following prizes will be awarded:

First prize:       RM 1,000
Second prize:    RM 800
Third prize:      RM 600
3 consolation prizes: RM350 each

The closing date is 4 August 2017, Friday.

RESULTS 
School of Economics is pleased to announce the winners of the Nottingham Economics Essay Competition 2017.

The judging panel has decided to award the following prizes: 

  • First prize: Srishagon Abraham (Taylor’s College Sri Hartamas, A Levels) - essay 
  • Second prize: Ku Jia Sien (Chung Ling Private High School) - essay 
  • Third prize: Megan Natasha Leiking (Institute Sinaran, A Levels) - essay
