The University of Nottingham School of Education in the Malaysia campus is an exciting and rewarding place to study. We are committed to the highest standards of teaching, scholarship and research to enhance learning about and through education. Through the quality of our courses, instructional design and research, we aim to inspire our students to inspire others. Because we believe that education can improve the lives and opportunities of individuals and communities, we champion the study and improvement of education for all. Our vision is to build upon our local, national and international reputation for the highest quality scholarship, research and teaching in the field of education.
The School currently offers Doctoral and Masters programmes aimed at experienced professionals in the fields of education, training and other related areas, counselling being one. The Bachelor of Arts in Education and Bachelor of Education programmes in TESOL offered by the school blend international teacher education concepts with a wide-variety of context based approaches. The flexible mode of learning offered by our School for the MA programmes provides a wonderful opportunity for students based in Asia, the Middle East and Africa to undergo their programme in a Malaysian study environment rich with the many cultural essences of the world.
Following in the footsteps of the largest and most established education departments of a UK based university, we at the Malaysia campus continue to lead the way in innovative teaching and learning methods and quality research. As our programmes are drawn from our portfolio of approved courses from Nottingham, UK and are taught by experienced multinational staff. These features also make our PhD, MPhil and Masters programmes appealing to many.
