The Great KL Challenge Competition

Description: 
The Great KL Challenge is a competition presented by Sweden-Malaysia which an initiative by Swedish and Malaysian industry, government authorities and academia with the objective of closing ties between the countries and invite students to drive innovation by submitting great ideas and solutions to existing and future city challenges. Winners of the competition will receive the opportunity to complete an internship at SAAB in Malaysia, take part in innovation programmes, or go on a study trip to Sweden in summer 2013!

Dates to remember:
21 April 2013 23.59 MYT
Competition deadline - all competition components must be completed and submitted. 

24 April 2013 
Top two (2) applicants per Award are selected and notified of their standing. All finalists will be invited to the prize ceremony that is held in late April, early May, 2013, in conjunction with the Embassy opening in Kuala Lumpur. 

Late April, early May 
First prize winners announced during the prize ceremony held during the embassy opening in Kuala Lumpur. 

Eligibility: 
To be eligible to win the applicant must either 

  1. Be enrolled in their Bachelor's or Master's studies in Malaysia, or
  2. Be a student from Malaysia currently on exchange or pursuing their Bachelor's or Master's studies abroad.
