The University of Nottingham Asia Research Institute Malaysia (UoNARI-M) is excited to announce our online lecture series entitled COVID-19 Conversations. COVID-19 has and is reshaping the world. From lock downs and pauses to states of emergencies, governments are working to address the health crisis. Hosted by Dr Gaik Cheng Khoo, Director of UoNARI Malaysia and Dr Bridget Welsh, Honorary Research Associate of UoNARI Malaysia, this conversation looks at the non-health dimensions of COVID-19. It brings in experts from the interdisciplinary network of the University of Nottingham’s Asia Research Institute to look at what are the broader effects on society, economy and governance. The series asks what will the ‘new normal’ post COVID-19 be like, and what needs to be done now to better understand the multi-faceted impact of COVID-19.
