This programme will be available from February 2012. This will consist of a 12-week Pre-University Programme (PUP) of education and work experience. This will feed in to the September intake of any one of our BSc computing courses:
During the PUP programme, students will spend four days per week doing work experience. They will be placed as interns doing office work, either in local companies, charities or the University itself. This will provide invaluable experience and help foster self-discipline and independence. The fourth day each week will consist of taught lectures, lab practicals and demonstrations – that will help to develop a wide range of IT and transferable skills.
This programme is intended for local students, who are already resident in Malaysia.
Accommodation will not be provided during the PUP period, although students may apply for accommodation from the start of the BSc degree.
