Opera Browser Settings
These instructions should guide you through the simple steps of changing the following settings in the Opera Web Browser:
Change the Text Size
- Click View on the toolbar
- Click Zoom on the View menu and select the text size you require
You should now notice a change in the size of the text
Alternatively, if you have a scroll mouse:
Hold down the Control Key (Ctrl) on your keyboard and scroll up or down depending on whether you want the text size larger or smaller (this may not work on all web pages).
Change the Text Style
- Click Tools on the toolbar
- Then click on Preferences
- The following screen will appear. You will need to click on Web pages from tabs at the top
- Click on the button next to Normal Font
- Select a font from the drop down box
- Click OK
The style of the font should have changed to your preferred font
Change the Text/Background Colour
To change the text colour in Opera, follow these simple steps
- Click Tools on the toolbar
- Then click on Preferences
- The following screen will appear.
- You will need to click on Web pages from the tabs at the top
- Click on the button next to Normal Font (or Background if you want to change the background colour)
- The following box will appear, click on Colour
- A colour chart will appear, select the colour you want to use and click OK
- Click OK in the Select font box and the Preferences box.
The colour of the text and /or background should have changed to your preferred colour
